Top Ten Google Image Results for "Ghostface Killah"

I don't know what made me think to put this list together but I'm sure glad I did. Ghostdeanie is the god. I still think he's the best MC in the game and have for the last 10 years or so (see my Top Ten Best MCs in the Game list). I just figured he deserved a top ten list that pays respect to his style. Say what you will about his music (and you better not say shit! ) but you gotta respect his originality. Also gotta respect Google image for pretty much delivering these in order of how I ranked em.

#10

This is a solid one to have at #10. It's the album cover to Bulletproof Wallets which is one of his best solo releases. Plus he's got the fly robe on. The best part though is that he's cheffin it up for Raekwon! Everyone knows Raekwon is the chef. The duo chose to flip it and reverse it. Ghostface has skills in the kitchen too. Recognize.

Had to rock an old-school photo of the god. He's got the wallees on. He's got the Jesus Piece and the Fila jumpsuit (pretty sure that's Fila). But what made me stop on this pic was the one-leg-roll-up. That's on some early 90s shit for sure.

Where the hell was this taken? By a pier? In a warehouse? Another 90s grimey style pic. It definitely takes me back the the 36 Chambers style look. If he only had a ninja mask and timbs on.

Now we're starting to heat up. A lot of rappers out there have the gold chains and the ice and the teeth and all that shit. There is only one don who rocks a giant golden eagle arm sleeve. It's on some medieval warfare type shit. Let's not overlook the Canada hockey jersey and the red background on this one either. With the kiss!

Here we see Tony Starks sporting his Theodore Unit jacket and just a whole grip of chains. Not sure how many of those are his or if he borrowed some from Slick Rick (see the Jay-Z movie "Fade to Black" for more background) but there must be about 30lbs. of metal around him. He's got the money stacked pyramid-style in the back ground and the bucket hat. Givem the scowl, dun.

#5

Fishscale! This one is hysterical. Rockin a dope winter hat, Ghost decides to stuff a roll of bills into a fish's mouth. Not sure if he's lookin tough or lookin like he doesn't want to be there. Either way it's brilliant.

Part of me felt like I had to rank this one #1. It's the cover of one of the best hip hop albums of all time and it's Pretty Tone's first solo release of his career. I also had this poster up on my wall all through college so it's got some extra special meaning to me. But screw it. It's #4 because the pic simply isn't as good as the three above it. Still a great one though. An image that hopefully no true hip hop fan will ever forget. Pretty simple- it's just the god, Cappadon, and Rae sifting through a bunch of wallabees. Ghost has the non-fitted cap to the back and the Jesus piece. They all have the super bright colors on. I can't help but think of that one skit where Ghost gets absolutely hyped on this pair of wallies he's gonna rock ("blue and CREAM!") He got so caught up on these kicks folks started calling him the Wallabee Champ. Simply classic. The significance of this image alone totally justifies it's high ranking.

Check this shit out! I know it's not an actual picture of the guy but come on! They gave the god his own action figure. And much deserved. The golden eagle, the yankee cap to the side, the robe, the giant medallion.... This is so great. I have to get one of these. I love the kicks in the background too.

#2

Wow. Killah sports the giant Ghost ring and the Jason mask in this one. And he's got all types of gold chains on. This one is just shows the many different emotions of the man. Kinda funny, kinda scary, stylish, original, gangster. I love it. It also happened to be the very first image that came up on the search so you know others a feeling it too.

#1

I'm not sure if it's the snack machine or "the thinker" pose... actually, you know what? It's the combination of the two that does it for me. Because if it was just one or the other it wouldn't be as effective. It's just very funny and very Ghost. The best image I found in my search. He's only got the giant medallion and the eagle on (did I just say "only"?) so it's more of the relaxed, laid back, "keeping it real" Ghostface. Maybe he goes Fritos. Maybe Classic Lays. He ain't gonna tell you. Maybe the don isn't hungry at all and just needed to collect his thoughts. Whatever he's doing, it's brilliance and I support it.
